Say Hello to Chicago's Queen of Radical Comedy, KJ Whitehead. whose blend of embarrassing stories about themself, radical political stance and unapologeic blackness make up her brand!

In the fall of 2014, KJ completed and performed as a player for the Comedy Studies Showcase at the Second City in The Backstreet Not Taken, wrote and performed with Taxidermists in Love for Columbia College Chicago and performed at The COMFORT ZONE at the Playground Theater, several times. They've hosted and produced their monthly comedic, political talk show, America's Dead... LET'S PARTY!also at the Playground Theater.

KJ is a Columbia College Chicago Alumni with a Bachelor's Degree in Theater: Comedy Writing and Performance, a Comedy Studies Alumni, Second City Conservatory Graduate, Second City Instructor, former cast member of iO Comedy Network's LGBTQ+ Collective, Friends of Dorothy  and founder of the Radical Comedy.

They've also been seen at Manifest (2013 & 2015), Yippiefest (2017), Chicago Fringe Festival (2017), Lady Laughs Comedy Festival (2017 & 2018) and recently, Charm City Comedy Festival (2018).

These days, KJ is still working the Chicago Comedy Circuit, while producing and hosting for her monthly feminist stand up show, Outside Amy Schumer. A Production Liaison of the Playground Theater. Returning to Columbia College Chicago to speak to current and future students. Caring for her cat, Buttermilk Waffles Whitehead.
